MyOutdoorJoy is a family-friendly local Charlotte-region outdoor recreational company focused on teaching adult beginners and those looking to build on past outdoor experiences, new skills ranging from hiking to SCUBA diving, as well as classroom topics such as emergency prepping and keeping your pets safe on the trails. We build communities for casual outdoor people.

What a beautiful experience it was Saturday morning joining Bee on the 3rd hike of the spiritual hike and healing series. Bee made sure that we took a nice and easy pace so that we could enjoy the beauty of Latta Nature Preserve, and the "Breath of God" guided meditation at the halfway point was magnificent. The peace and connection felt with the Creator of the universe as we sat breathing in fresh air and surrounded in the beauty and sounds of nature something you must experience. Outdoorjoy is a great way to explore new trails with an expert to lead the way leaving you to just sit back enjoy hike. I am excited to join again.

Took both a "Pop-Up Emergencies" & a "ER Prepping" course; Also just went on my very 1st camping trip ever with MyOutdoorJoy. All I have to say is.... James knows his stuff!!! James has lots of real life experience that he incorporates into his teaching style, which makes things easy to understand and very relatable. Lots of great info was shared. I'll definitely be back for more courses & camping trips in the future!

James and staff were incredibly informative and friendly for the Camping 101 class. He did a great job providing useful tips, and answering any questions I had. And the demonstrations were great for being prepared for camping down the road. I would definitely recommend MyOutdoorJoy if you are interested in any of their classes.
