Good, clean hotel. The facilities are nice though some of the rooms seem a little poorly lit. The staff is pleasant and the breakfast is good. Our room was clean and ready upon check in. I will recommend to friends and stay here agai. Should the need for me to visit this area arise again.
Good location, clean, room was fine. Checked out Sunday, April 15 2018. STILL WAITING FOR RELEASE OF HOLD ON MY CREDIT CARD even though I paid with my debit card and they have received those funds and are paid in full!! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, use one card for reservation and use a different card when you check in because THEY WILL CHARGE BOTH CARDS even though they tell you they won't. One staff person there told me it would be 2 to 3 business days for the hold to be released, another told me that it would be 10 days!! EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL!!!!!!!!!!! To charge both of my cards seems like fraud to me! Even though it was an ok hotel and the staff were nice, will NEVER stay in any of this company's hotels ever again because of this business practice. BTW, my bank says they can't do anything until they hear from the hotel, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL they have not released the hold on my other account. Disappointed Hilton Honor Member for sure!
I would give zero stars if I could. This has nothing to do with the hotel or its staff but rather the manager. I had a reservation for Thursday May 24th for one night. On Tuesday afternoon I received a call from my doctor as a follow up to some tests that were run on Monday May 21st and asked/told to come into his office on Thursday May 24th to review some issues that had arisen. Well after the dust settling and talking to my wife when she got home, we started thinking about things and then knew we could not travel on Thursday. Later Tuesday evening I went on line in an attempt to cancel the reservation, and the Hilton website would not let me do so unless I entered my Hilton Honors number...long forgot it...tried several times...well this was not a priority the rest of the evening...tried again Wednesday AM and could not..finally found a phone number..800 Hampton on the next to the last line..called and told they could not needed to call the hotel directly which I did and talked to Christina who was most helpful but she said she could not only the manager could and she would check with him when he got out of a meeting. Christina just called me and the manager will not cancel the reservation and refund me. I guess the manger feel the $117.00 room rate plus tax is more important!!!!!!!I realize he has a business to run although when Hilton/Hampton website requires one to enter a number (Hilton Honors) that they do not have how do you cancel on line even when one enters your complete name and reservation confirmation number...can you say NOT customer friendly! Who knows being towards the end of the month of May maybe my room dollars helps the manager earn a bonus
They have some perks to staying here, especially if you like a few adult beverages . I personally do not drink, my colleagues certainly appreciated the free beers. The decor is not gr8, too crowded for my liking, when I 1st was greeted by reception staff, it was not a gr8 1st impression, very "Posh" attitude. More than likely won't stay here again. I will say this though, the housekeeping staff do a very good job here, friendly and my rooms was always as I requested. I'll still take my business to their competitors couple blocks away.
Great place to stay. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast is very good.
