I really enjoyed this hotel. Their staff is warm and welcoming with a smile. Available to assist with anything that you need. Their beds are incredibly comfortable. I slept like a baby. What's really unique about this Hampton Inn is that they have a happy hour with Double Dog Dare wine that they serve. One hundred percent better than the Embassy Suites free happy hour wines. Happy hour was pleasantly content with Ms. Kendra Johnson attending to everyone. Hampton Inn you have a true jewel with her personality and spirit. She makes everyone feel at home with her positive attitude, her smile and interacting with your guests. This is truly home away from home!

Got stranded in Charlotte. Started calling Hilton properties.made a reservation with Hampton Inn. I wanted an email confirmation to be sure of the address. Had to call the hotel 3 times to get the email. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. There is no restaurant here so had to walk nextdoor to another property.

Ended up staying here after a flight cancellation at CLT. Everything was great. Airport shuttle was quick and easy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious. No complaints about anything.

Everything about the beds and food is typical from what would be expected from a Hampton Inn, so no surprise there . The location is very close to the airport too. The rain for the bad review s this location's inane credit card policy . When I travel for work, the company makes the reservations oona company credit card. This particular hotel requires a form to be filled out, signed, and sent in 5 days in advance to actually charge the room to the company card holding the reservation. They will not charge the stay to that card unless it's presented in person with their form having been received in advance. Else, you will have to present another card on check-in. However, if you cancel the room, they will happily charge the cancellation fee to the company card - no form required. That is what is so stupid - they'll charge the card if you cancel, but not if you stay. This is *NOT* a Hilton corporate policy; in fact, this is the first hotel I've dealt with that has enshrined such a duplicitous standard into actual law. I travel for work enough to have accumulated 100k Hilton points this year and another 40k in Marriott; I recently swore off credit, so it cost me 44k points to make sure I had a room. I have no problem with corporate Hilton policies and will continue to use them. But I'll avoid this Hampton Inn (and any other hotel associate with these owners) like the plague. They need to pick a team - either accept the card or don't, but having an asymmetrical policy like current is ridiculous . Edit - I raised it to 3 starts because the staff accommodated some maintenance problems very well. I really hate that credit card policy, but if that's not an issue for you, this is be a great choice close to CLT.
