Very friendly and helpful check-in staff. Great pool and exercise room. Very clean room and walking distance to a number of name restaurants. Excellent rate too!
Good for the price. Its definitely old, so its rundown and dirty in the way that old buildings are dirty - chips in the toilet, scratches in the shower and just a general dingy feeling. But the beds themselves are clean and nothing feels unsanitary. No complaints with bugs, didnt see anything and didnt get bitten at night. The common plaza area is dated, but in the cool 80s way thats coming back into popularity. The immediate surrounding area is a little sketchy, but not so that I felt unsafe, and you can walk to the Charlotte light rail which takes you into the city. Overall, not my first choice (I stayed here with a group and they picked it), but not bad for the price.
Daryl, at the front desk was very friendly, professional and helpful. The shower and bed were excellent. The shuttle service was on time and speedy. A very enjoyable stay
The Ramada was a great stay! The location was pretty good because there was a bunch of stuff within walking distance. They also have nice and helpful staff members. I would definitely recommend this place to others if they are looking for a decently priced hotel just outside the city of Charlotte.
6/28/18 PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!!! IT DIDN'T DESERVE 1 STAR BUT WOULDN'T LET ME POST WITHOUT HITTING A STAR. Went through 2 rooms before demanding money back. First room smelled so bad of mold my daughter instantly had a hard time breathing. Sheets were so dirty and floors were stained and gross. Second room dried vomit chunks on bed, mold smell even worse, sheets dirty covering vomit, mold on ceiling, large areas. Even black fuzzy mold growing out of phone. Couldnt breathe!!! Went to bathroom and there were nails, rusty nails sticking out of shower. Prob same height as my 6 year olds head. I have pics lots of pics where can i post to warn others.
