Staff is always great, rooms are always clean, and location is wonderful. Cribs are available and the dogs always leave happy too. I do wish we could get an upgraded room occasionally (husband is 100 night platinum lifer) but with dogs we never have the option. I understand why though. Also, I think throwing in the hot breakfast for platinum would be nice instead of just the cold options. All that aside we love the Westin Charlotte.
This place is great. Came here for the Liverpool match and turns out the players are staying here, so that was an added bonus. The hotel itself is spotless, the room is so clean and has everything you need. The employees are very nice and accommodating. Im normally a Hilton person but my brothers agent booked us here and I may have to start staying at Westins more often. Highly recommended A+++
visited area for weekend stay. check-in was fast. excellent location. the front desk was very helpful and nice. one bellman provided door service for a select few only; all other bellmen were polite and accommodating. although our was smaller than expected, it was neat. however, we found food left from a previous guest in the room. bedding was dirty and stained. no trashbags in trashcans. concerns have been brought to hotel's attention and will be forwarded to appropriate personnel per email from office manager.
I like the Westin, it is usually clean, and the staff is usually really helpful. There were some small bugs in our trip. In room air was not working very good, and hotel was packed so no where to move. They did kind of get it going better. Ice machine on our floor was out the whole time, and parking seems a bit high at $25 a day, on top of your room rate. But, it is in a great location, gym is nice, pool area is fun, and again, it was clean. We stay here every year, and the few bugs this trip were not enough to ruin my overall opinion.
Stayed here many times while working in Charlotte. The rooms are always great, but the service has declined over time. Calling the front desk is met with the feeling like youre burdening the staff. I got a big sigh today before I even asked for anything (I usually call for gym clothes which is a great option). Ive been given the wrong size or gender gear too many times to count, and 9 out of 10 times, the front desk fails to inform the valet guys to get my car. I usually get down to the front and they have no idea I wanted to head out. Dont get me wrong, I recommend staying here, but management needs to improve the service.
