This is one of those hotels you tell everyone about!! From the lobby to your room is pure luxury. The rooms are expansive and so very clean and the beds are so very comfortable. Its like when you close your door you hear no noise, its so quite and that is a major plus. The area around the hotel is very nice with great places to dine.Love the quite and peaceful hotel, where you can really get some good rest and be productive the next day. The staff are very professional and know the meaning of customer service!!
I love staying at this hotel! The staff is wonderful to work with, and they will quickly resolve any issues you may have. Slightly inconvenient to get to due to Charlotte's less than stellar roadway system, but does offer an excellent location from which to begin a walking tour of Uptown. Close to some great restaurants and literally next door to the Convention Center. I try to book this hotel every time I'm in this neat little city.
Despite description says that deluxe rooms are on 10-25 floor with a great view got a deluxe room on 6th floor with a view far from great. What's the point of the upgrade? Overall impression doesn't make you feel as in 4 star hotel... ~2.5 is more appropriate.
Four star hotel downgraded to three stars since they charge for basic Internet access. Nice hotel in uptown Charlotte. They have a nice bar next to the lobby and a small Starbucks branded shop. Rooms are nice but nothing special. The fitness center is very nice. The indoor pool is ok albeit small and a little cool.
The hotel itself is nice and it's in a wonderful location. The lady at the front desk, Rosie was incredibly rude though. She had a poor attitude that really put a damper on my checkin experience and I likely won't come back. There are other nice hotels nearby. I tried to check in an hour early and she acted like I was breaking the law and rolled her eyes. I honestly didn't care about getting my room early I just wanted to check in.
