Food is really good but space is so tight. I can imagine on a really crowded busy day, folks will be practically sitting on top of each other. But other than that, nice to see a brunch spot in downtown matthews. Love the growth of the little town over the years and I think they are going to do great. I got the tropical mimosa and the apple butter drink. Both were so good but my fave was the mimosa. So light and refreshing.

Customer service was excellent, superior, outstanding! Went in twenty mins before closing at 2, However side of collard greens is full of stems and barely any leafs. They are well seasoned the one or two bites I was able to eat and they only filled barely half way. I also wanted the black bean cakes and they dont sell them anymore which is disappointing because my favorite meal was the love cakes. Really wish I hadnt wasted my money on these greens, I also should have checked them before I left. That was my fault, the poor portion was not. Should have more vegetarian options since you no longer offer the love cakes.

Wow! This place was great, friendly service, and even better food. This was my first time experience eating at a flying biscuit. I only ever had it take-out before. Fresh tasting food with great coffee. Sat inside love what they did with the old insides, and the patio is always wonderful. Would recommend the biscuits and gravy and the chicken and waffles.

We've been a patron of this specific Pizza Peel now for numerous years. I just never got around posting a review, until now. But after today, I just had to. We absolutely love all the servers who ever have served us here, and today one of them (Libby) recommended to me to try the vegan cheese option for the pizza due to me needing to be dairy free. I was apprehensive to try it because I've had terrible vegan cheese before, but she highly recommended it and said she even liked it. So, I tried it...and was blown away. At first bite, I was trying to figure out if this was real dairy cheese or not (and if the crust was indeed GF)...because I just could not tell the difference at all in taste or texture. One of the primary reasons we keep coming back is due to the ability to order GF/Dairy-free options at a reasonable price, and today I was absolutely blown away by the quality options now fully available. Up until now, I only ordered goat cheese as an alternative for dairy cheese...but I am not limited to just this option anymore, and I am so thankful. In turn, she actually brought me a package of the cheese they use - and I was able to see the ingredients (which are minimally processed), and see who made the product. I am amazed. Finally, a vegan cheese option that actually tastes like cheese...and it's not a huge list of products that can't be pronounced! This is not the only time servers have gone above and beyond here, it is a frequent encounter for us - and we love being regular patrons of the Matthews Pizza Peel! Thank you all for always providing great food, service, and a fun atmosphere for the whole family!
