Queens Feast was a disaster at this place. From the menu to a person of my party getting water spilled on. The menu options were okay if they actually had them. The fish of the day was a deep fried crab which my husband ate none of it because it was all fried bread. The chicken was a huge portion in a tiny plate. The steak that I ordered was okay except that I ordered medium well and got medium rare. Two from my party ordered the blueberry cake and the waiter came back to say that it was not available. How do you run out of something when it's restaurant week? Our appetizer plates had not been picked up when our entree was being placed on the table. Our plate runner got so tied up trying to take our plates that he spilled a glass of water splashing my friend. Not recommended.
Open kitchen concept restaurant in the Charlotte Marriott City Center. Stoke was easy to find just off the common area of the Charlotte Marriott City Center. The dcor was sleek modern with a interesting central, open kitchen concept and plenty of seating variety. The reception and the service were friendly and efficient although it seemed like the service staff was a bit overloaded on our visit. The menu is not extensive and is both familiar and with of creativity with a southern flair. All the ingredients tasted extremely fresh and seemed to be high quality. The cheese board was a nice selection. The salad was fresh and nicely presented. The burger was flavorful with fresh trimmings and good bread. The deviled eggs were very tasty. We did not sit at the bar and have cocktails on this visit, but I did notice they had an interesting cocktail menu and a small, interesting bar off the main dining room and also connected to the common area. The prices were right on target. Overall, Id rate Stoke as a good value for great location, nice facility, friendly service, good food, and good prices. A good choice if youre staying at the Charlotte Marriott City Center.
Attentive service. Ordered the biscuit chicken sandwich. Amazing. The cheese was a gooey maple fluff. Genius. Unfortunately was not able to finish it due to the large portion. Should of stayed away from those fabulous crispy fries.
Visited last night with my husband for the 3rd time & they did not disappoint! We waited about 20 minutes by choice for our favorite waiter. He is an absolute joy! Amazing service from him every time we've been there! We've had a variety of menu items throughout our past visits and they are all wonderful. My husband had the steak last night and it was super tender and delicious. This has become our favorite go to place and we will definitely be back! If you've never been you are definitely missing out!!
AwEsOmE Queens Feast meal!! Tomatoes with cucumbers, buttermilk and radishes was great. My husband liked the farmers salad. The shrimp fettuccini with pistachio pesto was awesome but I thought my soft shell crab was a tad over-fried. We were given pretzel brioche with whipped butters, on the house because
