I absolutely love this place. The staff are amazing. I am an extremely avid coffee drinker and the staff accommodated me for that they were awesome I walk up to the front desk asked politely if they could make a pot of coffee and low and behold they made me an awesome pot of coffee. The rooms are well kept the place smells amazing and very clean and the best part is your surrounded by restaurants Anda great shopping plaza even with a target within a 3 min walk. Super hotel will always stay here. So please book here you won't be disappointed I promise.. enjoy Gastonia.

Hotel was clean and well maintained. It is in a great location with lots of food and shopping options close by. The staff was always pleasant. Only wish the pool was heated and had free breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again. Actually wanted to extend my stay another night but they were sold out.

We have always loved and stayed at Hilton Garden Inn when ever we travel. This location was a big disappointment. First, we have an 8Lb emotional support dog with all proper paperwork and identification. We have never had any issues at any other location. She doesnt shed, is hypoallergenic and very quiet. The front desk told my husband, he needed to pay a $75. pet fee. When he questioned it, she lowered it to $50. $50. Is what is listed on the website for any pet for one night. Ok, he paid it. Then when we went to grab a bite to eat in their restaurant/bar area at 8:00 at night, we picked a corner table 20 ft away from the other 3 people there. The waitress was so sweet, took our order. She brought us our beverages and appetizer. The fried green beans were delicious. The appetizer of meatballs and mozzarella cheese, looked pretty but the meatballs were at best, room temperature. The chicken tenders tasted like they came from a bag of frozen chicken tenders. Two appetizers, frozen chicken tenders, Diet Coke was close to $80.00. The waitress returned and said if we came back for breakfast, the front desk said we could not bring our dog and sit in the dining area. Our dog never made a peep the entire time we were there. She laid down on my sweater in the booth and slept. Breakfast would have been another $15.00 for pastries or $18.00 for hot breakfast. We have been Diamond Members for years and have never had this type experience. Very disappointed with this location.

This place was nice and clean. My check in was smooth. The rooms are roomy and beautiful and up-to-date. The only downside to this hotel is that I had to pay an arm and a leg for my breakfast, as where most other hotels like this have free breakfast. If it wasnt for that, I would give it a five star.

Cons first: pool was not heated water was ice cold, breakfast isn't included, bathroom doors don't lock, one of the patrons was smoking weed in their room and we could smell it in ours Pros: good location, super clean, comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms, breakfast was delicious and according to the staff cooked fresh each morning, gym was nice and had a decent amount of equipment, the staff was kind, digital room keys and check in were so convenient. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The pros outweigh the cons and for the price I would hope so!
