This place certainly is worth the hype and the drive!! I came from Durham and its such a cool and unique place to play golf. I shot a 83 on the #1 course and its fun and kinda challenging. Its certainly a dream come true and the people there are super polite and have courtesy. They help you with a lot and its really a great place with great people
8 of us had a wonderful experience at Pinehurst. All the staff were nice and accommodating. The weather happened to be prefect. We played 3 rounds of golf #8, #2, #4. Each course has its own personality but share on thing in common, the putting surfaces were fast. A caddie was extremely beneficial and recommended will playing at Pinehurst.
There is a whole lot to like about Pinehurst. We played 2, 4, and 8. 8 is a good starter course and plays a little easier. 2 and 4 are all about the greens. They are slick and have undulations, fall off, and collection areas galore. Placing your approach shot is key. The 18 hole, massive putting green is fun, the clubhouse is terrific, and their customer service is extraordinary. Our caddies Geary and Ron on the last day were phenomenal, and full of both course knowledge and stories.
Pinehurst is not just for golfers! My daughter and I recently spent our annual Mother/Daughter weekend here. The accommodations, the shopping and dining are all fabulous! The Spa is very nice too but definitely needs some updates.
Wow. Golf heaven. This resort is for golfers. The Cradle is tons of fun, No. 2 will challenge you... Every course, every hole has something to offer. Amazing golf resort.
