Had a 4 hour layover at CLT and was able to get a 2 hour nap in peace and quiet thanks to Minute Suites. The staff was very helpful, got me checked in with ease and in my room. I would recommend to anyone needing a nap with some time to kill at CLT.
Great location, they started implementing pillows. I had a very comfortable stay. The staff welcoming and nice. I recommend making a reservation prior to arriving, in that way you secure your room.
IT was good if you need to relax, read or watch online streaming, but just Barely adequate if you need to sleep. You can still hear some of the crazy hustle of a busy airport. Anytime a customer was at the counter, you could still hear the conversation with the employee. If you enjoy total darkness, you're out of luck, as light still Shines through all the gaps in the door. I would've given 5 stars, if this service werent so crazy expensive. 2 hours stay here equals an overnight at the Marriott.
OVER a month ago I stayed here. I travel very frequently. I was wrongfully charged and only found out when I looked at my bank statements. I tried calling to resolve this, but weeks and weeks with no answer. When I flew through CLT again, I went in person and was told I was charged for the snacks and drinksI never had any of these, but I had noticed during my stay how depleted the snack options were. They told me this happens often, the person doesnt refill the inventory and people are wrongfully charged. They apologized and said I should get a refund i a few days. Guess whathave not gotten a refund. Guess what, still no answer. As far as I am concerned, my money was stolen from me after giving them my card info. My CC resolved it and refunded me.
I stumbled upon Minute Suites when I had a six hour layover in Charlotte. It was an overnight layover and I was not looking forward to sleeping in the chair. I walked up to Minute Suites ask them how much? After they gave me both hourly and nightly rates, I decided to stay the night. While I did not sleep, it was very relaxing having an area to myself that I did not have to worry about anything. Considering my total trip was ~20 hrs, I felt it was worth it and would stay again. It's not cheap, but it was worth it. At least for those trips with an overnight layover in the airport.
