Crave Dessert Bar
This is a lengthy review but worth reading. This dessert bar has a lovely aesthetic. The hostess sat my friends and me in the outside seating area. We couldn't hear any music and had to play our own off of a phone. They had a great selection of hookah flavors to chose from, but unfortunately they only gave us one hose. Passing it around a table of 5 people did get annoying. The drinks are expensive and I'm sure there wasn't much alcohol in them. Our server did keep forgetting things and at one point I had to ask the hostess to go get her because she didn't come back to the table for 25 minutes and we hadn't ordered appetizers yet. The appetizers are not really a shareable size. The desserts were pretty good, I highly recommend the red velvet waffles. It was my sisters birthday and they gave a free birthday dessert but they didn't want to tell us what it was ahead of time which was also frustrating because she didn't end up liking it. Lastly our server didn't give us a second coal for the hookah until after we already paid and ready to leave. Overall not a great experience for the price.
Great atmosphere/vibes! Go if you want something sweet- wonderful selection of drinks and desserts, including some savory items.
Was looking forward to a wonderful birthday evening but there was a 40min wait (perfectly fine we live in COVID nowadays) nevertheless, the lady who took names was so off putting and failed to explain the kitchen would close in that same 40min. Why continue taking names? Obviously we left after standing around waiting as you all closed. A waste of time.
They have Eagle Rare, and that was enough to make me happy! But then I had their delicious crab quesadilla along with an Old Fashioned and I was in heaven. I wish I caught our waitresses name because she was on it! Absolutely love this place.
Awesome dessert and drink options in Uptown. The cupcakes were great and the Tiramisu was truly special. There is also a nice variety of upscale cocktails. Being new to the city, this is quickly becoming one of my favorite places.
