Jive Turkey Hut is nothing but good vibes, good food, and great customer service. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff makes you feel right at home. The turkey legs are amazing, and the greens are by far some of the best Ive ever hadperfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The salmon bites and Thanksgiving eggrolls are great for sharing, and lets talk about those sweet chili wings cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. If youre looking for quality food, generous portions, and a vibe to match, this spot is a must. Ill definitely be back!

My buddy who lives in Charlotte has been talking about going to this place for the past year. You drive by and dont really know what to expect since there are no windows, but I feel like thats part of the fun. When you walk in it feels like youre going to a friends house to hang out for a really good meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and offer really good recommendations. Theyre known for their turkey legs, and I would highly recommend the Dirty Leg, which is the turkey leg topped with their dirty rice and hot honey sauce. Its a big portion so you could split between two people if youre not starving. Definitely get the Thanksgiving Egg rolls too, very good. Ive seen a few reviews saying this is the best Mac and cheese theyve ever had, sadly I disagree, its just average to me but I prefer mine thicker and this was pretty runny. My buddy got the Salmon Burger that our waitress also raved about and said it was solid. Get out and support your local spots like Jive Turkey Hut, theyre worth it!

Mannn I took my lady here on Valentines Day for lunch lets just say its like Big Mommas cooking on Thanksgiving.The Soul Leg and egg rolls are the Bomb B!! Family environment, atmosphere, service was all Fantastic! The owner and her sisters are wonderful!! Definitely our new spot to eat.

I was sent a TikTok video of the place. I live in Virginia, but traveled to Atlanta over a weekend and decided that I would stop on my way back to VA. Got the Soul Leg and another turkey leg and the food was delicious. I met one of the owners, Barry, he was very nice and appreciative that I stopped by his establishment. If Im ever in Charlotte or passing through, I will definitely stopping by again.

January 31, 2025. This was our first time visiting. The place is small but you can eat in. We ordered to go. We ordered plain flavored turkey drum, collard greens, mac and cheese, and yellow cake with chocolate icing. The plain flavored turkey was just ok, nothing special. They have 6 flavors to choose from. 1. Hot Honey 2. Lemon Pepper 3. Teriyaki 4. BBQ 5. Hot Buffalo 6. Sweet Chili When we go back, I will order a flavor on my turkey. Hopefully, that will make it taste better. The collards with shredded turkey in it were good. The mac-n-cheese was just ok. The yellow cake with chocolate icing was moist and good.
