Always loved this place but it appears as if theyve closed. Sign on the door only mentions visiting their South Blvd location

The roast beef was delicious.. saw a few negative comments.. but it tasted fine to me.

I must admit the food here is good and all but the place needs some serious love. Dusty soda machines, sticky floors and counters plus dirty bathrooms are a no for me to return. Please work on this.

The sandwich was amazing. Plenty of meat.

Had a meatball sub. It wasn't a gooey, saucy, cheesy mess, but rather an artful showcase with the meatballs in the starring role. It was good. Shall return.

The best sandwiches in the Charlotte area hands down. Their hoagies are phenomenal - bread from New York combined with high quality lunch meats and their prices are very low. Whats more to ask for? Lots of meat too in the sandwich. To me its all about the bread and that really stands apart from around here - so, so good!!!

I write this review in courtesy of the Sandwich Max that used to be on 7th. I ate there many times and I've had this location once. I love the sandwiches and the staff here, very tight family operated kind people. Gotta be honest though, this place is way too expensive to make it a go-to for lunch but still 5 stars, highly recommend every now and then.

Best sandwiches in Charlotte! Sam is one of the owners and he knows what he is talking about! Fresh ingredients, bread from NY freezes and then shipped here. Cant go wrong with an Italian on white bread! Only sandwich spot Ill go to in CLT, sorry not sorry common market :)

Great sandwiches. The missus agrees. Try the meatball for hot or Italian for cold. Will visit again.

Sandwich was pretty good, bread was excellent. Unfortunately, their customer service lost them some stars. They insist on yelling out entire sandwich orders when they are ready at the counter, of which are sometimes inaccurate, instead of using a basic name or number based system. Was there for 10 minutes and saw two customers get the wrong sandwich in the confusion, including myself. I took it back to the counter and I have no idea what they did with that sandwich I already opened but they took it back and it disappeared under the counter. I asked them about a name system and they said they yell out the order description only. I guess if you enjoy hemorrhaging money that's the way to run your business. It's not very customer service based, just based on stubbornness at this point. Even if people are unsure if it is their sandwich or not that was called out, they still have to go to the counter and ask and it stops the operation of all 3 sandwich makers to address it. Watched it over and over standing there, shaking my head. I hope someday they drop the stubborn attitude and focus more on the customer or I'm afraid they may not survive. What's hilarious is that at the to go counter, all orders are organized by name. That side of the counter ran flawlessly. Hmmm wonder why?
