Grapevine Bar and Cafe - Riverwalk
This place is amazing... So quaint, cozy, and welcoming. The variety of wines and beer is astounding. Kim, the manager at Riverwalk, is like family the minute you meet her with wonderful wine suggestions. Relax, have some wine, the charcuterie tray, and take in the ambience.
Great spot & ambience. Good beer and wine selection. Coffee is disappointing though - have been served cold, watery coffee on several occasions. Service could also be better - recently waited 10 minutes before I was acknowledged, and was served mediocre coffee.
The service was unbelievably bad. Slow, not friendly and when we asked for change of a $10 to leave a cash tip the young boy threw it on the table at us!! Wow. My gf still left just over a 20% tip since we have both worked this industry for years. I would not have, personally. There is no excuse for rudeness or seeming bothered when you want to order or leave a cash tip. the menu states what comes on the cheese board and we didn't get the honey comb or any nuts...why not? Just say it's optional! I would have order a second glass of wine but my empty glass was not a clue that I might want another. Instead we asked for the check. Sadly, I would not return. The atmosphere is great but lack of customer service never works out well for the establishment.
We loved this place! Is a little small but cozy and the seats are quite comfortable. We started with a cappuccino and espresso and then moved to their wine offerings. They have well priced wine samples. After tasting a few, I went with the northwestern Pinot noir and didn't disappoint. We also ordered a charcuterie board that was very good. Service was very good and all suggestions were right on point. We have already been back last weekend. It's now our go to place for coffee or wine. Also, they carry amazing bottles for sale at great prices! Well done guys!
Great wine selection ,,,,view of the river ,,,,5 stars for best view and cheese plate in area ! Ancient peaks red is the best for the price !
