This was our first time here and we had someone using a walker in our group and the staff was very accommodating of us, they even got our walker ready as the curtain call was going on so we could have a quick exit! Only downside, we were sitting in the floor seats and there is only one slow elevator from the main lobby down, so factor in some extra wait time and expect a long line. The venue was conveniently located in uptown Charlotte and you could even buy a $5 parking voucher upon entry for the nearby parking decks. They also have a loading zone right near the front door which was great for us. We had such a great time, we purchased tickets for a few other upcoming shows!

I really loved it here I enjoyed everything, the performance and the scenery. I saw an opera and it was magnificent they sung it in French and it was beautiful. Come here if you want to see something to enjoy

Always love the Blumenthal. I really like how easy everything is to navigate, the ushers that help direct traffic in the ladies restroom during intermission is a Godsend. Will always return.

We had a really good time from start to finish. The minute you get to the door, a usher opens it and takes you to the elevators and tells you what floor you need to go to. When you get out of the elevator another usher greets you and takes you directly to someone who takes you to your seats. We got seats in the orchestra area in the middle and they were perfect! The closest parking is the east 5th street garage which is right next to the theater.

Blumenthal Performing Arts center is a weekend activity! They often have broadway shows and I find they have a good variety of serious drama/musicals. The theatre is beautiful and its uptown location means that once the show is out there are restaurants and clubs to enjoy. Staff very nice and helpful. Come for broadway or for local comedy shows and music.
