Excellent layout. Many large bunkers with very playable sand. Greens had been aerated several weeks before, so still had a bit of bumpiness, but were still nice. The fairways were quite tight, which I attributed to typical early spring conditions, but members told me they are mowed very short all year long. That's great if you like s lot of roll, but it makes short approach shots much more difficult. The price on a Monday for non-residents was $69.00, and no senior discount.

Played for the first time as a way to show some out of town guests a nice time. Sunday morning tee time $79. Layout of course is great. Tee boxes, fairways, and bunkers well maintained. The heat stress on the greens was disappointing and would have loved the price to reflect those conditions. Wasnt able to even putt in some places. Clearly regular players dont appreciate the course with all the ball marks never being fixed. Aside from the playing conditions there was no food or coffee available in the morning. The halfway house and beverage cart would not take credit cards (they would write down your CC number however). The icing on the cake was zero water jugs on the front nine and only 1 on the back. 90+ degrees and $80 round without any water. Extremely apologetic to my guests for what I was hoping to be a bit of a better experience for the price.

BEWARE. Paid the online rate of $79pp for our foursome. When we arrived they let us know the front nine was closed for green repairs. The back nine should have been as well. All but two greens were unputtable. Patched sod all over them. They were generous enough to give us a card for 50% off our next round..didnt realize until we got home that the card expires 12/31/22. I assure you those greens wont be repaired by then. No mention of the course mess on the site prior. We did feel bad for the employees having to listen to all the complaints. Ownership group should be ashamed.

Typically one of the best public courses in the Charlotte area. They have struggled in late summer with the bent grass greens but they are addressing the issue. Im looking forward to getting back out there once the issues have been resolved. Love the fun layout.

This course has a challenging layout. Mix of tough and scoring holes. Have to be accurate off the tee box. Secluded holes because it flows through the neighborhood. The tee boxes are ok, and the sand traps as well. Their biggest problems are the range, the greens and the price point. $79 to play early Sunday is fine when every part of the course you're playing is in good condition. The greens were the slowest I've ever played. They didn't roll well, and worst of all their was dead spots all over the place. It didn't help that no one seems to fix their pitch marks. If you are going to charge almost $80 this is just unacceptable. I think $60 is pushing it. I won't be driving back their from Belmont until I hear things have changed. I'm a 15 handicap on GHIN and play at least once a week. If I could give this 3.5 I would.
