Hall Family Farm
Great place for fall activities with kids of all ages. Close to the city, but feels like you are way out. There is a hayride that goes around the property (with theme music), a set area and goats and pigs. The people who work there are friendly and the apple cider donuts are also
Nice and clean, family fun place. Several activities for young kids. Face painting is $10. Call ahead and make reservation for tents if youre going in on a hot and humid day. Bring lots of cool drinking water. Drinks and snacks at tent is reasonable priced. Strawberry picking was fun and entertaining for the whole family.
They only charge for your berries you picked. No entry fee. No parking charges. Since the berries are not organic, please don't eat them while picking up them in farm. Pay for it. Wash it and eat it. They do also have a play area for kids of all ages. My kid enjoyed pumping water out activity with other kids in competition.
We went here to get a last minute pumpkin before Halloween. It's a really nice little farm. They have plenty of parking which is nice. We went so close to Halloween that the pumpkins were half price. We had to sample some food when we there so we had an apple cider donut sundae. It was awesome and I definitely recommend getting it. It was the perfect fall treat. We also got a bunch of their local made breads to take home, all of which were delicious. I think they could do a lot more with the space that they have. I think they could improve the corn maze to better compete with other local corn mazes. This might make it more appealing to adults. This is definitely a great place to bring kids.
