Ride or Die Spin Studio
Lower South End
Went to a class a month or two ago and am just now getting around to reviewing. I arrived with a handful of other riders on a Sunday morning for a class, and no instructor was there. Luckily, we had a rider that was previously an instructor who got up to teach so we could at least get a workout in. Towards the end of the time window (must have been close to 45 minutes after the scheduled ride), a woman who I later found out was the owner stormed in and angrily told the rider who was kind enough to instruct us to get off the bike. I was shocked by how unprofessional she was after NO TEACHER SHOWED UP. She was more angry than apologetic. I was able to touch base with other riders who said that wasn't the first time it had happened. I'd recommend staying away and finding another studio in Charlotte that has similar rates.
Ive been having an impossible time trying to get in contact with the owner about cancelling my membership. She was responsive up until I mentioned cancellation and has not reached back out for a week. Went to a Sunday class and the instructor didnt show up!! No communication sent out or anything. I was told by the owner herself this isnt the first time this has happened. Very unprofessional all around. Would advise against membership for all of these reasons. Save your money and go somewhere reliable.
AWFUL experience I have called them over 38 times. No one answers. Mailbox is full. I was charged for a class I never signed up for. DEMANDING a full refund and still have yet to speak to anyone.
Love this place. Gina and Erica are amazing - Thursdays 5:45am /Fridays 5:45pm classes are a must go. Instructors are very friendly and always love to chat after every workout -they love getting to know every rider.
