I love Jack Beagles and I have been a regular since we moved to NoDa. Service has always been on point even on busy days, good selection of craft beer, and the food is great. The veg choices are great, including the wanna be pork and fake streak (no fake meat here just delicious mushrooms). Please bring back the impossible or the beyond patty though. The new patty is not good. Other than that we love JB and will continue to be regulars
How have I been sleeping on this place for 6 years now? We came here for an impromptu happy hour last Friday and it's awesome. It's a great neighborhood bar with one important distinction: the food is unique and delicious. The bar tenders and servers were very friendly and helpful. We got there early and had no trouble getting a table. We got entirely too much food, but it was too good to stop. We got the Buried Treasure Fries, the Widow Maker Philly cheese steak, the Country Mac, and the Jack Mac. The mac and cheese was the star of the show. The Country Mac was our favorite, but both were delicious. The fries were awesome as well. The Philly was at the bottom of my list, but it was still very good. It just didn't stand out quite as much as everything else. There was so much on the menu that I wanted to try, so I'll definitely be back for more. I think this place is flying under the radar for those that don't live in the area.
Service was a 10/10, the food was as well. My "party" of 2 was quick to sit in a table outside and we got appetizers and our food in no time. Kudos to the kitchen workers grinding it out accurately and deliciously! I got the veggie patty in a regular burger fashion and idk what's in that veggie patty but it was without a doubt the BEST I've ever had. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend.
Been here a handful of times and keep meaning to write a review. I try something new each time and every time the food and service has been wonderful. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but the chicken and waffles today were really good and pushed me to share. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
The food was great but I paid 6$ for a margarita and 3$ separately for the shot of tequila that they put into the margarita. Im not sure why we pay for an alcoholic drink but pay additional for them to actually put the liquor in it. Thats a bit strange to me.
