This pub was a relaxing place to eat and drink. The appetizers were really good, especially the fried pickles. The rest of the food was pretty bland, I got a buffalo chicken wrap and it was far from buffalo sauce. The server admitted that it was just red frank's hot sauce which was very disappointing. The server also told me they were open until 1:30am and I came back around 11:30pm and they were closed. Fortunately, someone was in there nice enough to give us some free chips for the inconvenience. Overall pretty good place.
Pub at Gateway is an awesome place to go! Its a cozy, friendly bar with fantastic food! My French Dip sandwich was one of the best Ive ever had. Its tucked back a bit, but is well worth finding.....you wont regret it!
Quiet little uptown pub, at lest it was quiet when I stopped in after work. Bar maids were friendly and put the game on TV for me. Their beer selection is okay, and a couple of their kegs were kicked. Great place for a couple drinks after work. They had some drink specials on so it wasnt too pricey.
great place to chill, get away, eat some good food. i will be bringing family next time. food is similar to a cafe in portland i loved.
A good place to have drinks Uptown. I've gone here regularly for many years. It's in great location, frequented by locals. Friends often meet here to enjoy drinks and enjoy a sports game on TV. Poker tournaments are a lot of fun and someone held here. (Currently there's a lot of construction on Trade Street making The Pub rather difficult to access.) The food is mostly sandwiches and wings of average quality but somewhat overpriced. No nonsense.
