We had a great time, and the bartender was super nice, helped to ease my anxiety of having my young puppy off leash, great drinks, reasonable prices, great environment, however their policy states that dogs must be vaccinated and we can verify that they do not check vaccination records. We brought our young puppy with her up to date vaccination records in hand, feeling comfortable based on their policy. When no one checked her records before requiring that we take her off leash I was apprehensive, and should have followed my instinct. A week later we were at the vet with a sick dog with an upper respiratory infection which then spread to our other dogs, causing even more vet bills. We have not boarded our dogs, we have not taken the puppy to any dog parks, and she has not been around any other dogs. I hate to post things like this, but my dogs are my kids, and sick dogs and vet bills are not what my family needed this holiday season...or ever for that matter.
My dog Bruce loves this place. I like it better than Lucky Dog because while Lucky Dog is newer, it has WAY too many dogs. Dog Bar is way more chill and the dogs seem to all get along better when there's only 10 dogs and not 100 like at Lucky Dog.
Again. Why do I love The Glasshouse? Because it's a small venue that plays a lot of bands that I like! Course, they do not serve alcohol here, but that's quite all right by me. The best show I saw at this venue: CURSIVE!!!
As much as I love this place and enjoy bringing our 5 dogs here this will probably be my last visit. Today our daughter and grandson was in town visiting, with his love of dogs we decided to go there. We were welcomed by the most rude woman. Instead of being polite and letting us know baby's could not come. She barged out of the bar and was rude telling us we must go. Way to loose a 6 year customer.
All though this place took a little bit of time to get used to it is an amazing idea and a very fun and active place for both people and dogs alike to mingle and sniff each other's butts. I strongly recommend checking this place out if you love beer and dogs but not giving beer to your dogs of course
