D9 is one of the top notch breweries in the Lake Norman area. Their facilities are really nice, and they always have something going on, be it special event or food truck on sight. Their beers are also excellent. They really know their craft. Their sour program is really good, but if you don't like sour beers, then look to their IPAs, which are fruit forward without being fruity. So good. Must stop in the Lake Norman area.

Some of the best sours here in NC. Location is great, they always have good events with music and food trucks. Their tap room is awesome and you will always find so.ething you like. I can't recommend them higher.

The only reason it's not a 5 is because there isn't enough beer variety for me. They specialize in sours so they have a lot of them. (My husband loves sours and he loved every single one he tried.) I don't like sours so there were only 3 other options for me. (Swell rider is the one I went with) The service was great and the place comfortable. There's a beautiful outdoor space I look forward to using when it's warmer. They had live music but there's a partial wall that separates the room so you don't have to have full music if you want to hang out with friends and talk. There's also a fussball table, if you like, and there's a tv to watch the games on. The night we were there, there was a grilled cheese food truck, but we ordered from mama's pizza and had it delivered. There seems to be enough parking and it was easy to find.

Beers on tap are worthy of more stars but when I was there the service was poor. Upon arrival I walked my way around the crowded bar and found an opening to try to order. 15 mins in I wAs asked if I was helped, and said no, but the guy next to me was waiting longer. Finally got to order and wanted a few small pours, well girl gave me full pours and was annoyed at my questioning her delivery. She proceeded to pour out (waste) the extra pour and place it in front of me and disappeared. Luck would have it that the other beertender, Casey I think was there and was able to take care of business. Professionally finished my order and made my experience better. I will visit again, but hope management better staffs the room during busy times, and trains the beer service staff.
