Hyde Brewery and Suffolk Punch have it all. Great location at the New Bern light rail stop. The food alone is wonderful, but you combine the food and Dan Hyde's craft brews and you have a great experience waiting for you. The brewery has a great section that is always expanding and changing, and Dan takes his craft beers to new tastes. The location has brunch, coffee, tea, inside and outside tables. It is kid and dog friendly . The staff are friendly and know their brews, menus , and coffees. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed. They also serve other local brewery's beers.
Food was cold and took an hour to come out. Sent the short ribs back for being cold and they didn't attempt to remake it. The just microwaved it and sent it back out. Terrible service and no attempt to make it right. Beer was solid though.
This spot is probably one of my favorites! The food is delicious, the beer is great and the atmosphere is fun! - Get yourself there!!
Went the first day they were open, we had an absolute blast! The place is so beautiful! I smiled as soon as I walked in the door! The planters in the middle of the tables outside are such a cool idea and the hanging plants inside give the place a real rustic feel. Mike, our bartender was fantastic and answered any questions we had and was very quick to serve us. 10/10 would recommend!
Limited in house brews right now. But a large tap selection. No flights at dinner time. I can't think of any other way to describe this as a yuppie bar. Eclectic food on the menu. I would describe it as an acquired taste. Definitely convenient to the young crowd in the area.
