Lower Left Brewing Co.
This little brewery has quite a cool vibe going on. Intimate and the staff is very nice. They also have a dachshund as a security guard. Plenty of different varieties on tap. I started with their Mexican lager with lime and it was very nice to pair with a summer day. I would recommend this as a stop for beer lovers traveling to or living in Charlotte
We visited over a dozen breweries while in Charlotte for a weekend, and this was easily one of my favorites. They had the friendliest bartenders we met anywhere, and we enjoyed the outdoor space. Loved the beer. Wish we couldve stayed for more than one round, but we were trying to pack a lot into a small amount of time.
Great beer and good atmosphere. Bartender was friendly and very knowledgeable. Just felt like a warm and local place. The place you regularly to go for a great beer and feel relaxed after a hard day.
Super nice staff, great place to hang out especially outside. Great for bringing your dog as well. Beer is pretty good, not breathtaking but decent. We were there on a friday night with a food truck that was really good too.
Chill beer spot that won't disappoint. Fantastic beer with a variety of styles that are so refreshing it'll have you grabbing another pint. Red Clay (local) cider offered too! Tried the hazy, West coast, and double ipa (possibly new England style) that all went down smooth enough I'd recommend a non IPA fan at least try. Sours and darks didn't disappoint either - go for the key lime it's like a sour pie in a glass! It's a smaller place than some other breweries and that just adds to the charm. Bar tenders are helpful and can tell they love what they do. Had been unaware it was so close to south end until recent and well be back for more beer and to say hi to the guard dachshund.
