Vaulted Oak Brewing
Matt Rojas
New Charlotte brewery in an old bank that has extensive indoor and outdoor space. This brewery has a really nice space that feels freshly built and a great feel to it. They have been around for roughly 8 months now and have some really tasty beer! The Porter is my favorite that I've tried, nice and toasty but still goes down light. The sour ipa has a good tartness to it! You can order pizza from Sal's Pizza across the street and eat it in the taproom as well which creates a great place to grab a drink and some food! This place would be a lot of fun in the summer with all the garage doors open on a nice warm day.

Blink and you might miss it driving by! We visited Vaulted Oak as part of our goal of visiting every brewery in Charlotte - and were pleasantly surprised, as I feel like I rarely hear people mention this one. The beers are good, but the atmosphere is even better. Next time we'll come hungry with the excuse to order from Sal's across the street (they deliver!).

Loved Vaulted Oak Brewing in Charlotte NC. Its right across the street from Sals pizza so you can order from there if you want. They also have food trucks in rotation. There was the Say Cheese truck when we were there. They had all different tater tots and grilled cheeses and mac & cheese. Vaulted Oak also has some of the best beers in Charlotte. I love that they have one or two Goses on tap at all times. I had one that was a collaboration with edge city. They also had a pineapple gose. The staff are also super friendly. There were a ton of children there (my only negative) and it is super dog friendly so I would definitely bring my dogs next time. I love that they have wine and other options besides beer. Will def come back!

This brewery has an awesome unique design. It's an old bank which was repurposed and they integrated the drive through lanes/lights, pneumatic tubes, and safe door into the design. While they had limited options on tap, the atmosphere, service, and ample indoor and outdoor seating made up for it. I love that they have a few games available and are dog friendly (multiple dog bowls for water, treats, and waste bags available). We got the rye stout and it was good (4/5). Will definitely be back.

Really nice new microbrewery open in Charlotte. A number of in-house crafted beers, a collaboration, and currently four or five guests taps we're available when we visited. The physical space is nice with a lot of outside seating. The people who work there are great! Very friendly, very knowledgeable. The rye stout was one of the best I've ever had of that genre.
