Great Wagon Road Distilling Company
Lower South End
Great customer service. Was late to our booked 4pm tour, they asked if we could have a private tour after the official was finished. The guide agreed. Tour was brief but very informative, purchased special single barrel whiskey at end. Was able to try all they distill before purchasing. Additionally we ended up buying some food from a newly expanded menu was tasty and affordable.
Free tour if you buy a bottle. Rua was amazing on the rocks. Kinda weird having a bar next store as theyre different businesses and you cant drink in the distillery.
Good idea, good menu, good drinks but a disaster from the service side/food. Forgot to ring in the order. An hour and a half later we brought it up. The apologized and rang it in (said he gave it to wrong table). Lamb slider were so raw they were bloody/purple. Shrimp dip has no shrimp in it, more of a cream cheese dip. Drinks had different ingredients each time but not bad. $140 with tip and had to hit taco bell after. Tapas took 2.5 hours.
The best whiskey and Vodka i have ever tasted!!!
Very nice place to relax and taste the hand crafted product. Anything hand made is better than mass produced product
