Absolutely loved this place! Its a boutique distillery with a very unique concept fruit-based spirits that you dont usually find in the U.S. Every flavor we tried was smooth, aromatic, and full of natural taste (not artificial at all). You can really feel the craftsmanship and attention to detail. The experience felt personal and authentic, and its clear the owners are passionate about what they do. If youre looking for something different from typical whiskey or vodka, this is a must-visit in Monroe.

Didnt know Monroe had a distillery. Checked it out and had a great experience. Kate shared their process and guided us through the tasting. Their vodka is made with fermented fruit and was quite smooth. The brandy was complex with great notes of fruit. The plum and fig were standouts. Support small and local and pay them a visit!

Found this place from a recommendation of a friend on FB and was surprised that they were only a few minutes from the house! Kate is a great tasting guide and their brandy, vodka and rum is quite good for a small local distiller! I enjoyed the Peach brandy and was glad to hear that they were sourcing their peaches from local growers in NC/SC. Im always happy to support a local business that supports other local small business. Even if you think you dont like brandy, I suggest you try anyway as i didnt think it was my thing and it turns out I found a new favorite!

My friends, I and my mom had a fantastic time visiting **Vetus Distillery**. Its rare to find a spot that balances high-end craft with such a personal, welcoming touch. Kate and Diyan were incredible hosts, and it was fascinating to learn about their "vine-to-bottle" philosophy and the history behind their copper stills. The craftsmanship in their spirits is evident, but two were absolute standouts for me: * **Black Label Grape Brandy:** This was my personal favoriteincredibly smooth and rich. * **Estate Vodka:** I loved learning that this is distilled from the "pommage" (the leftover fermented skins and fruit) from the brandy production. Its a brilliant way to capture every bit of flavor from the fruit, and the result is exceptionally clean. Its clear they put a lot of heart into their small-batch production. If youre looking for an authentic tasting experience that goes beyond the standard distillery tour, definitely make a stop here!
