We came for Sunday brunch on our first visit. We were seated promptly and enjoyed the eclectic vibes of the restaurant. My wife enjoyed her grapefruit mimosa and I enjoyed the spicy bloody mary. Our server tried very hard to remember our small order, but the food that was delivered wasn't correct and had missing items. They admitted to putting in the order wrong. When we were preparing to leave a different waiter brought us another order of our same meal. I'm sure it was a mistake, but small oversights can add up in a restaurant. Our food was good and the portion size was fine. We will come back again soon.

I stopped in here for brunch, they had a fantastic menu some very nice drinks including a very neat Mimosa flight. The inside of this place is absolutely beautiful, and the service was top-notch. Our brunch was fantastic and I've heard very good things about their lunch and dinner menus as well. I will definitely be back!

Great brunch spot in Charlotte. They have carafes of mimosas which seems to be rare in Charlotte - love that. Food is good. Love the decor. Id definitely recommend this spot if you were considering

My husband and I brought a potential new employee and his wife here for dinner. The atmosphere is eclectic and very inviting and our server was efficient, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating. The food was tasty and well-presented and the portion sizes were perfect. We even splurged on desert that topped off a very delightful meal. Im giving my review 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 reasons: 1) The ladies bathroom smelled of overwhelming sewage backup. I had to hold my breath the entire time I was in there. 2) The dining tables are TINY! 4 average-sized people had to literally squeeze in together and there was barely enough room for our plates and glasses. It was very cumbersome and definitely put a bad taste on an otherwise lovely evening.

I really like 5Church, it is definitely hip and trendy. I've been there twice and both times was a great experience. The first time we had a reservation, but the second time we were just in the area on a Saturday night, popped in and were able to be seated in less than 5 min even though the place was packed and we didn't have a reservation. They even helped us carry my son's stroller up to our table. I got the lamb burger for the second time, which is excellent, and it was consistent with my first experience. I also tried the collard greens which are the best vegetarian greens I have ever tasted in life. Our service was good, but I was worried they wouldn't have a changing table. I was pleasently surprised and impressed to see they had an actual furniture changing table in the upstairs rest room. My only complaint would be I saw a server preparing utensils, cough into his hand, then went back to preparing utensils for empty tables without washing his hands I will definitely go again and just put my utensils in hot water.
