This place is amazing!! I would have never chosen this place myself, I was with a friend who wanted to go. I didn't understand most of what was on the menu, so I picked something that sounded familiar ("ham" was the familiar ingredient), not quite knowing what I was ordering. To my pleasant surprise the BEST sandwich I have EVER tasted is what I had ordered. It was divine. The ingredients were so fresh, and the flavors within my meal complemented each other perfectly. The service was fantastic and the restaurant was very intimate. We went for lunch, but it would be a romantic dinner spot. Highly recommend!

GREAT restaurant. While not overly fancy or pretentious still great for a special occasion especially if you care about the food and not the fluff. Exceptional food, and I try to eat the the best restaurants in each city I visit. This is as good as it gets. Small menu, that is a positive, everything done to order. Clearly as good as comparable upscale bistro type places I've tried in Paris or NY. Reasonably priced quality wine list. Attentive wait staff, owner circulates to make sure things go well and customers understand what they trying to do. Great mean, comfortable atmosphere. Real value for what you get

Excellent! Perfect lunch spot with a friend. Very comfortable and refined atmosphere without feeling forced. The daily catch, scallops, was very good. Served with gnocchi. Beautiful plating.

Went here for "date night" and had an amazing dinner! John recommended various white wines & the Spanish octopus, which was, hands down, the best octopus we've had to date. Bursting with flavor & perfectly cooked (not overcooked or rubbery), and the capers were a nice touch. The Escargot were a little overdone but the puff pastry was melt-in-your-mouth buttery. The duck skin was perfectly crispy and the duck itself was juicy and flavorful. The hubby had the short rib Wellington which was also amazing - fork-tender & wrapped in the same buttery, flaky puff pastry as the escargot. Lovely ambience too - soft lighting and beautiful art. 15/10 food and atmosphere. Thanks for a great dinner!

This restaurant is just absolutely fabulous! Owners, Bryan and Patrick, really know what they are doing and have created a fine dining experience like no other in Charlotte. The food is always fresh, delicious and exquisitely plated, and the service is impeccable. Do not miss the chocolate souffle...yum, yum, yum!
