Fantastic restaurant with great ambiance and service. Everything served had great flavor. The menu was expansive along with a variety of unique drink offerings. The open layout allowed for the kitchen to be seen preparing food along with nice outdoor views. Would highly recommend!
Loved Angelines. I found that in Charlotte, North Carolina, hotel restaurants are much better than other cities. The bar was really great. I had one of the best dirty martinis Ive had in Charlotte so far. Amelia was amazing. The food, ambience and service were incredible as well. My friend and I shared the whipped ricotta and then I had the Cacio E Pepe with shrimp and she had the mussels. Our server Will was fantastic. I would go back just for him. Hes really cute too. The prices were a little high but I totally understand being in a hotel and all. Looking forward to my next meal there
We went for breakfast on Valentine's day. It was a very pleasant experience. 1. The restaurant is beautiful. It's very bright and open and you also have a view of the Chefs working. On another note, they have a beautiful private dining space. 2. Service staff was very attentive. They made sure that we had drinks and everything that we needed. 3. The food was good. We ordered the omelette with collard greens and pimento cheese. To our surprise, it was Delicious! All of the food came out hot and tasted great as you would expect. They only serve breakfast meats made with pork or a vegetarian option. 4. They will validate parking but only in the Kimpton Hotel Deck which I believe is directly below the restaurant. 5. We are excited to try the dinner menu. We think it will be worth it.

Nice place, seems to be pretty popular so it's better to make a reservation. We came in a few minutes before the official opening and were told that they might not be seated because they had a lot of reservations. However they did find a table for us. As we were leaving the place wasn't even half full, so not sure about that "a lot of reservations" part. Anyway, we got a table and ordered calamari appetizer, two pastas, and some chicken dish, don't remember the name of it. They also served some bread, which was great. The food tasted great, but the portions are average sized, so don't expect to be full with just one plate. It's highly likely that you're gonna want more than that. On a good side - if you are a dessert lover, you'll definitely have some space for dessert, on the down side - your check will go up if you do. Overall - very pleasant experience and food, however, it's not gonna make it to my "oh I'll definitely come back" list in Charlotte.
We stopped by for a late lunch today. Party of 6 .. we were told that they do not seat parties of 6, only 2 or 4. We offered to sit at the empty bar and the hostess declined saying there was no bartender. We then offered to split up, again no I get staffing shortages, but we were offered no alternatives. We would have been happy to wait. North Italia was happy to accommodate us.
