The mind of a black woman is capable of anything. The Archive is a great example of a black womans creativity mixed with business sense. This place is a time capsule of black culture thats needs to be displayed and explored. From the black art to menu, every detail was hand picked. Words cannot describe how amazing this cafe is to me. Please come visit and support a black business.

The best coffee shop I've been too. This shop is owned by a young black woman who saw a need and fixed it. The coffee is great but the atmosphere is even better. There is black memorabilia posted everywhere and for sell. There is a hand drawn moral of greats both old and new too. Don't be surprised if you see a table of people working in one corner and another table with people playing games. It's a very welcoming and relaxing place.

Black woman owned coffee shop with black vintage books & magazines, such as Vibe & Jet. Speaking of vibe, Archive is one!!! I love that they personalize your order. The hot Foxy Brown Latte is amazing. You'll definitely want to have a seat & stay awhile.

Amazing local coffee shop and archive/vintage store dedicated to Black history and culture. The owner Cheryse is simultaneously one of the kindest and most powerful entrepreneurs I've met. The coffee shop offers lattes and pastries, but more importantly, a space to uplift the artists, authors, advocates, and historians across decades of Black history. Incredible collection of magazines, books, posters, music and more. A must visit in Charlotte!

Really nice shop! This place pours coffee and culture. The inside is nice and welcoming. The owner is very friendly. The coffee is good. Fun place to hang out as well. Lots of great reading material with plenty to look at. Go check it out!
