It is a nice Chinese restaurant. The service was great and really quick. The food was pretty good too. The pork buns were a good appetizer a it was not too filling but provided enough substance to at your whistle. I got the orange chicken which was a little different than my usual take-out orange chicken. Yet, it was still pretty good. It didn't come with rice so make sure to ask for some or order a side dish if you are really hungry.

The food was bursting with flavor! Our waitress was sweet and served us well. The restaurant had a great vibe and it was clean, well laid out. The bonus was the diaper changing table in the bathroom, which was maintained well!

I am so excited to have bao closer to us! As moving from the west coast I was over the moon to try this place. The first time we attempted to visit this place the wait was over and hour and they were out of all buns and hot pot. Understandable as I am sure everyone else is also excited to give this place a try. We finally found time to give it another chance and we were very happy and pleased with the taste! The walnut shrimp is something to hyper-fixate over & the bao was just right. We will definitely being eating here again, only complaint is our server was a little awkward and we felt kind of rushed to order and be done.

I love soup dumplings and these are the best in town. Unfortunately that is not saying much. Trying to find good Chinese food in Charlotte is tough. I recommend they focus on flavor and they can be the best Chinese restaurant around.

Today I was invited to attend the pre-opening tasting event at BaoBao: Authentic Chinese Cuisine Huntersville. The chief Daniel and Ariel are relocated from Northern California where they previously owned 3 successful authentic Chinese restaurants. The Manu is extensive and the gradients of the food are to a particularly high standard. The quality and tastes of every dish was outstanding, the spicy sichuan poached fish fillet, Kung pao chicken and braised eggplant with ground pork might have been the best meal I have ever been served. Highly recommended. Absolutely the best Chinese restaurant in Charlotte.
