Thought I had ordered takeout at the Freedom location but instead the Southend. Instead of canceling the order I decided to make the trip out to checkout the spot. Glad I did. Beautiful location thats so open and airy. I got my Hot thigh combo with the fries and drink and yes its still the best chicken sandwich in town. Highly recommended

Great place! Fast casual. Nice and hard-working staff. Order at counter, deliver food at the table. For the price, I think its great value $16 chicken combo meal. With great sauces. Great flavor. Sit inside or on the patio. Much better than other chicken shops around Charlotte. bossy states they use local ingredients. You can park on the side street. Safe, great views. After dinner you can grab beers/drinks near Sulfoch punch or other breweries. (I dined in late, 30 mins before closing)

As someone not from the area visiting from out of town we almost didnt go here because the location and parking. However dont let that deter you if you not from the area .. hands down some of the best chicken Ive had in a long time . Super flavorful and moist. The Fries were banging and the sauces were delicious and tasted freash made .. Great atmosphere and the people were super nice.. thank you def will try to come back !

Is there anything better than great customer service? Probably, but not much, and KC at Bossy Beulah's in South End is as good as they get. I picked up some food last Sunday near closing time, and unfortunately, my chicken breast sandwich, the Beaut, had several pieces that were too chewy to eat. I called the next day and asked for a manager and the gentleman answering the phone, KC, said he could help me. I told him the situation, and he told me to come in and ask for him and he would get me a new sandwich for free. I mentioned I could make it in on the weekend and he said he's usually there then. On Saturday, I asked for KC when I stopped in. He remembered I called and said he would take care of it. I decided to order french fries to go with it. I started to pay and he said, "I got it." He made the chicken sandwich and fries from scratch. When it was done, he brought it over to me on a tray. He also added the blackberry hand pie as another added bonus. The chicken sandwich is the best I have had in Charlotte. Their fries are also as good as you can get, and I am a fry aficionado. The blackberries in the hand pie were bursting with flavor and there was a soft crispness to the texture that was addicting. If KC had just replaced my chicken sandwich, I would have been happy, but I wouldn't have written a glowing review. He went far beyond the expected, and that's great customer service! People like him are the reason businesses are successful. You can be sure I will be back, as well as tell my friends. Everyone working there was very welcoming, and the food was great! Kudos to a great experience, and a great manager in KC! Bossy Beulah's is lucky to have someone like him working for them.

Amazing hot thigh sandwich and great seasoned fries. Fries are kind of similar tasting to Five Guys but more balanced in saltiness and crispier. Cost for the combo is about $15 and worth it given higher quality, large chicken size and overflowing fries. Their sandwich bread is a perfect match to the chicken too. And loved the apple cinnamon pie, right amount of sweetness and portion for one. Also appreciate the very friendly staff and manager!

Got the chicken tender 3 piece, thigh sandwich and two sides (potato salad and slaw). No drinks. Came out to 31.50. They charge per sauce and these are tiny and 50 cents. Tenders were bland, breading to chicken ratio was way off, not a lot of seasoning. Thigh sandwich was tiny and very dry. Wasnt hot either, bun was really dry adding to the overall dryness of the sandwich. Sides: slaw was basic KFC slaw just mayo, carrots, and cabbage, forgettable. Potato salad was a bit better but still kind of bland. Sauces had a weird aftertaste and were tiny. Overall I dont get the hype youre better off at CFA, Canes or super chix. Branding and atmosphere are cute but the food was subpar for the price.

Amazing chicken! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavor. The staff at the Park Road location were super friendly and made the visit even better. Great spot for a quick bite or hanging out with friends. Definitely one of my favorite chicken places in Charlotte!

Unbeatable Southern Comfort Food at Bossy Beulahs! I cannot rave enough about our familys amazing experience last weekend at the brand-new Bossy Beulahs near the Park Road Shopping Center in Charlotte! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a spotless, welcoming space filled with natural light and plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out. There is also ample parking which is always a plus. Lets talk foodsimply outstanding! Every bite was bursting with fresh, bold flavors that could only come from dishes made with care and top-notch ingredients. The apple filling in their hand pies is clearly homemade, setting a new standard for dessert. We devoured the Skinny Beaut with potato salad, a classic Beaut with crispy fries, a hot thigh sandwich, the Flossie double hamburger with cucumber salad, next-level crispy wings, and a to-die-for chocolate chunk cookie. The Flossies apple hand pies and sugar cookie soft serve were the perfect sweet finalemy diet start date will just have to wait until well beyond Monday! The staff truly made our visit unforgettable. They were genuine, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel valued, even offering special kindness to me as a 100% disabled Vietnam veteran and accommodation to my family as we dined. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel right at home. Even the restrooms were spotless and featured quirky, humorous sayingssuch a fun touch! Bossy Beulahs is clearly a family-friendly gem, perfect for guests of all ages. Charlotte, youve got a new go-to spot for Southern comfort food that feels like home. This was my first time eating at a Bossy Beulahs. I just want to say the staff was so friendly and I couldnt help but smile when I entered. The food and service were excellent! The fries were the perfect texture and full of flavor but not greasy. The chicken sandwich was the best one I have ever had. The chicken was so juicy and delicious. I also got a hand pie which was really nice and full of apples. I ate outside and it is such a nice space! I will definitely be eating here again! Thank you for a great experience!
