Love Cafe Monte in Charlotte NC. Super friendly and fast service and everything Ive ordered has been delicious and fresh. Today was quiche Florentine. Was so light and had incredible flavor. I had fries with it and they were thin and crispy! The French onion soup was so delicious too. The cheese wasnt chewy and the broth was so tasty. Love their coffees too!
Crab and lobster crepes are to die for. Delicious bloody Mary's and great service.
A destination restaurant! This place has a special status because it delivers an upscale experience at a reasonable/fair price point. It offers a very quality product presented in a pleasurable manner. This is an upscale neighborhood that has this resturant that can be comfortably enjoyed by a different demographic. I encourage people who want a really pleasant experience to go and have a special experience. Also can go to very active upscale mall across the street. We were a party of 6 had a very nice experience for $20 per person including tip. Food is excellent and well presented. Service is excellent. I respect a job well done
Almost 2 hours here for lunch The service was incredibly slow, they seemed as if they didnt have adequate staff on to cover the dining room. They never assigned us a server so we waited 30 minutes until I finally asked about one, and it was another 10 before someone finally came over. Food took another 35+. The people who came after us got their food 15 mins after ordering. No one ever checked in again after until we had to ask a manager for the check and to run our card. Absolutely terrible experience, I dont recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a nice experience out!
Went with high hopes, as we are new to the area. Got the seafood crepe and a Caesar salad to share. The crepe was a soupy mess with meely hot house tomatoes (and its summer, they are in season!) and it was thick like an undercooked pancake. The Caesar was completely without flavor. Croutons were great. The server (we sat at the bar) was devoid of any personality and seemed comatose. We will go back and try two more dishes to give it a fair shake. But underwhelmed for sure.
