Went there with a friend on Friday night. The front desk and our server were super nice and helpful - great service did give great first impression. The layout of the restaurant is nice - high tables, dining room, bar - can host groups from 2 to 8. The distance between the tables is good as well. The food was not as impressive as I thought it would be. Not saying that it was not good, but my expectation was very high - Ive had great experiences with other Rare Roots restaurants, and this one - to some extent - is the replacement of Dogwood. Just not the best Mediterranean food I had in Charlotte. I wish the kitchen could put less salt in most of the dishes, and the octopus was a bit over cooked (over tendered). They offer $70 pp tasting menu which is a good option to try more dishes with a smaller group visiting. Also note that there is only street parking and no parking validation.

Y'all, I just had the most delightful meal at Chapter 6 in Southend yesterday! The skewers were spot-on, but let me tell you about that sourdough bread with whipped ricotta - felt like pure southern comfort. The service? Absolutely top-notch. If you find yourself in the area, don't miss out on this gem located next to the new Sycamore!

Opening week for this spot and everything was wonderful. The kitchen killed it, service was wonderful and the location/atmosphere are top notch. You should go.

Excellent multicultural food, great vibe and layout and amazing service (especially considering it was their first weekend).
