Really good service. Our food was out within 5-10 mins tops. It seemed like most people got their food to go but we dined in with ample room to social distance. My Spicy Nashville Chicken sandwich was delicious. The coleslaw was fresh to order! My Partner's ribs, salad was good too. We had such a great time here. Definitely recommend this for a quick bite or to feed the family.

WOW! Let me tell you! Amazing!! I just relocated from St. Louis to Charlotte. It was suggested that I try City Barbecue and I am extremely impressed. The food was incredible! The Service was impeccable! The restaurant was clean and the prices, I believe, were spot on. LeAnn the Manager was very nice and informative. I can't imagine having a better experience.

I do normally enjoy this place, the peach cobbler is amazing, but we went this past weekend, on Saturday and got sausages, pulled pork, some sides and texas toast and i thought I had ribs too. The order of ribs was not in the bag. I noticed as soon as I got home and called back to let someone know. The manager was very nice over the phone but said they were still busy, which I understood, and took my number down to call back after they closed. I never got the call back. Extremely frustrating and disappointing. Update - Kelsey was awesome and attentive to helping to resolve this issue and that was appreciated!

Clean, friendly atmosphere! All staff were Awesome and helpful, Kendall (long blond hair, hat, gray shirt) she was aware that I was a first time (we talked a bit). While enjoying my amazing beef brisket, she brought over a complementary banana pudding! It was a welcoming experience at City Barbeque in Charlotte University area, Beautiful place will come again!

Really good Q! All the usual suspects are here, Brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs, chicken, even salads and Brisket Chili (make that a must try!). Their sauces are a bit on the sweet side. Portions are good, and they have Carolina slaw (vinegar based) which is a must for a good pulled pork combo. The brisket is very good, as are the ribs. Sides are good. Overall worthy of a calling itself a Q place in a hipster shopping center.
