Smoked turkey and pulled pork we're both full of flavor and tender, then we added some of the sauces and were blown away. City BBQ gives you about a dozen sauces to choose from, and the peach habanero is out of this world good. Fried okra was perfect, not overly breaded and salted just right. Baked beans had pieces of brisket in them and a thick, sweet sauce. The restaurant was super clean and the staff was friendly. This is a new go to for us!
The BBQ was great. The fries were a bit soggy so I won't be ordering those. If they were packed differently maybe that would help. The chocolate cake was phenomenal. One of the managers or employees let us try the Brunswick Stew they are thinking about putting on the menu. It was fantastic. If they have that during the winter I'll be there. The green beans were really good. The mustard sauce is really good as well.
Meh... Nothing special... Portions were just average and the sauces were pretty forgettable. Staff was nice and accommodating and the place was clean with a rustic/industrial design. BBQ masters and connoisseurs might want to skip this one though. Still not quite sure what "style" BBQ they would call theirs. Not to say that it won't appeal to your own taste buds. It was just pretty bland for mine.
Chose the turkey breast lite lunch combo. The meats are definitely on point. Smoked to perfection, moist and tender. The baked beans were good. I like that the fries are hand cut, but curious why they don't season them with anything. Employees are friendly and provided good customer service. Overall, a positive experience.
Pretty good. Tasty meats and sides. The ribs are a stand-out. Fried okra and peach cobbler. Remember to get bbq sauces to go if youre getting take-out. The Judges Sampler is a decent value if you have a small group or family.
