My first experience wasnt great but my second was much better. I will definitely be back. There's no way this meal could be worth $30. They will never get my money again. You can get more for $30 from a really good Caribbean restaurant here in Charlotte. I will not be wasting my money again on this meal. The sandwich was so skimpy. It is more cheese than anything. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the favor is not bad but definitely not worth $30 and still be hungry

I had the smoked wings with Mac and cheese. The wings were flavorful, but I wish they were spicier. I loved the Mac and cheese though. It was cheesy, baked goodness. My partner had the oxtail cheesesteak and said it was easily five stars. Oxtail isnt my thing so Ill have to take his word for it. Theyre currently only open on Fridays and Saturdays for online ordering so get it when you can! Check their IG page for menu and details.

I came here for the the Oxtail Cheesesteak and did not leave disappointed. I felt like I had to try it with the jerk sauce which was delicious. I'd love to try other ones as well. Oxtail is so tender and delicious. They do a great job with this sandwich. It comes with plenty of fries. I wish it came with more ketchup (or any other sauce) for the fries. We got one packet which was not nearly enough. You order online and then pickup at City Kitch. I'm glad there are a few tables there now so you don't have to take your food to go if you don't want to.

I found out about this food place a few months ago from Facebook. I kept seeing people post, share, and talk about this place so much I just knew I had to try. I placed my first food order the end of February and ever since then I have purchased from them. The food is always hot and fresh and the food portions are more than enough. My only regret is that I didn't try them sooner when I first heard about them. The owner is super sweet and always make sure I'm taken care of when I pick my food up along with his staff. Always great customer service and I always just have a great experience. So glad I finally tried this place out and now I'm hooked. I haven't missed a week. Highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.

Got curry chicken, rice&pea, and plantain and it was delicious. Flavors and spice were perfect. Chicken was tender and juicy. Plantain was sweet and fried crispy on the edges, just how I like them. Came on my lunch break, my coworkers told me about this place because Ive been looking for some good Caribbean food. I ordered online and the l food was ready before the suggested time. Also very personable and friendly, made sure to check my order and that it was correct before leaving. Im from Jersey and grew up with a lot of Caribbeans and this is the best Ive had in Charlotte!
