Got together with a few friends to try this place out, and let me tell youI was mind blown by the live Pani Puri cart! As a forever Pani Puri lover, this was definitely the highlight of my visit. The crisp puris, the perfectly spiced water, and the fresh fillings made it an experience worth coming back for! After indulging in Pani Puri, we ordered a few dishes, and while everything was flavorful, it felt like something was missingnot really sure what, but it just didnt hit that wow factor for me. That being said, the food was still pretty decent, and the variety on the menu is impressive. I have to mentionthe graffiti walls were amazing and added such a cool vibe to the place. With such a wide range of options, Im definitely planning another visit to explore their Dosa selections next time. Cant wait to see what else this place has to offer!

Visited Desi district Charlotte on a Wednesday night for dinner, we ordered a chicken 65 appetizer which was good, quantity was less for $14, and then we tried the chicken mandi with 1 pc chicken, the taste was average.. there was just 1 leg quarter. The total was around $22 after tax, i felt it was overpriced for the quantity of chicken and just some flavored rice.. I added extra chicken piece which was $5. So overall spent around $45, definitely was not worth my time and money.. There might be other dishes which would be better, but definitely not these..

The food was nice at this spot. Had their fancy chicken and rice (without peas and carrots) dish, set at mild, and i will say, you do need to have an acquired taste. The staff was friendly and provided us with what we needed when requested (they did scramble a little finding the right sauce for this dish) But their dessert was the heavy hitter of this establishment and will definitely come back to this local spot for it. (Also nice how there is a shopping section attached to the restaurant component of this place.

We travelled almost 200 miles to eat Mandi. The whole journey was worth it . Mutton juicy Mandi and chicken fry piece Mandi are so good . And the goat pulav was excellent. And the appetizers are also good.
