What an experience!! Lake Wylie is very fortunate to have this restaurant! If youre looking for great food and a great time then you should definitely stop by drift. The food and drinks are amazing everyone!! Definitely worth the dollars spent! But what really makes it a great experience is Everyone was so friendly from managing staff to the young man who gave us our entrees. Just a warm and energetic environment all around. Something you would not typically get at a fine dining experience like this one. Also We had Joseph as our server and he was very attentive, friendly, helpful, etc. he really helped make our night special! Thank you drift for an amazing night!

It was good, not great for my visit but this place has so much potential. Hoping theyre working out the kinks - theyre very new. Great outdoor area with a lake & marina view. Wonderful staff. Great drinks. The steak wasnt cooked to the temperature requested and the server let us know theyre working on this issue (she said its been happening a lot). Not a huge deal. The manager gave us a free drink for the issue, which was very nice. We ordered scallops and steak plus sides and unfortunately, not much going on with flavor anywhere. Certainly not bad but not impressive.

Wonderful place! Took my boyfriend here for his birthday. Started out with shrimp cocktail and blackened oysters - cocktail sauce was delicious. For our meals we got Chilean sea bass and the prime rib with sides of mushroom and asparagus! Everything was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere, the staff, it was well worth it. Our reservation was an earlier one and it was nice to have the restaurant quiet for awhile before the rush really hit. Very beautiful place and we are already planning to return. Also loved our waitress - Annahbelle - so sweet, so personable, no complaints whatsoever!

As big fans of Pump House, we were very excited to try the new restaurant on the lake. Overall the food was decent and drinks were good. However, I have a few suggestions for management to improve the experience for diners: 1) At least make an attempt to include more vegan/vegetarian options; the menu is extremely meat/dairy heavy and makes it difficult to accommodate diners with dietary restrictions. 2) Allow diners to select an outdoor patio table when making their reservation in advance, its frustrating to not be able to plan for this in advance and simply get whats leftover upon arrival. 3) Consider slightly reducing prices, or at least including a few menu options at a lower price point - Im totally fine to pay a little extra for good food and drinks, but the quality just isnt there at this price point - yes its lake front and yes its a beautiful setting, but $40-$50 for pasta is NYC pricing, not Lake Wylie pricing. In my opinion, there are tons of higher quality dining options in Charlotte with lower prices.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful! They thought of every little detail when designing and you can't beat the location! I ordered the scallops and they were cooked perfectly. The carrot cake and gin blossom cocktail were fantastic too. Can't wait to bring out of town visitors here.
