Duckworth's Grill & Taphouse

Duckworth's grill and taproom are worth the stop in. The food selection has something for everyone, but don't overlook the Philly. The beer selection is amazing and using the iPad for an up-to-date list and details on each beer helps make selecting the beer for your visit a breeze. Be sure to check out the daily specials. Overall, a nice open establishment that knows what it is.

Did we come at the wrong time? Literally everything was either ok or not good. First off if the item comes with sauce, sauce should be on the food, what I got were hot wings that were merely baked wings and ribs that had a splash of bbq sauce. The ribs were tender but lack much flavor. Both my wife and I are blue cheese eaters so when literally everything came out with ranch we weren't to happy. The ambiance was good and though the server was nice and attentive he must have been new so wont hold that against him. Iprobably would have given this 1 and half if I could.
We went to celebrate our daughter's birthday on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was not busy so it was easy to get a table. The atmosphere was not as cozy as the Uptown location. The quality of personnel working was nowhere near what I thought a Ballantyne location would have. The food was good. However, the situation we truly disliked is we told our server, at the beginning of the meal, it was her birthday. After we finished our entrees the server never asked if we wanted any dessert. In my opinion, that act was one I cannot forget. Train the servers better and you could have had a bigger bill.
Always something interesting to drink! Being a bit of a beer collector, I found an Osker Blues, 10 Fidy oak barrel age Imperial stout. I got to drink it here instead of opening the one I had in my beer fridge!
Great beer selection. Staff did an awesome job. Grouper tacos were perfect.
