Best creamery in Charlotte! I love local ice cream businesses in Charlotte vs your average franchise. The consistency on their product is awesome and you can tell the owners love what they do. Its a small store, but theres outside seating along with some bar stools inside. The location is perfect to walk around with your ice cream as well. Anytime Im around the area I always have to stop by.
Best and most creative ice cream in Charlotte. A hidden gem. A place that feels like home. A place that feels like the first visit all these years later. A place that maintains Charlotte's soul.
I feel like this was Charlotte's original I've cream shop, so i had been meaning to give it a try. I'm a sticker for the unique flavors at Two Scoops and Golden Cow though so it took me a while to make it here. We had lunch in the area and decided to stop by after. It's a small shop with a bar that has a few seats. You can park on the street right outside. They have a good selection of flavors. While not quite as creative as some of the newer shops in town, that still have a good variety that you don't find at your average ice cream shop. They only let you sample three flavors which is a little annoying when there are so many to choose from. I decided to go with the cake batter and the pralines and cream. Both were very good. Everyone else I was with also enjoyed the flavors they got. I got a regular with the two scoops which were a little small. I definitely wanted more when I was done! This is a good little ice cream shop that I definitely recommend checking out if you're in the area.
This is by far the best ice cream I've had since moving to Charlotte. The ice cream was creamy and delicious. I'm so glad we finally found a place to get good homemade ice cream. Other homemade places in Charlotte don't come close.
Ice cream was good, waffle not so much, still the best for me is gold cow creamery, and their waffles are much better. The service is not so friendly. I have not choose yet the ice cream and they already started serving other customers. It felt kind of rude.
