Definitely a must try at Optimist Hall. Bring a friend and try them all! My favorites were the shepherd's pie and the bacon with date and goat cheese. They provide a cute little guide and each flavor is shaped differently so you know what you're biting into! They are perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavor. Daniela who was managing the register was super helpful and friendly. She gave us a tip to reheat them in an air fryer if you have left overs - perfect!

Loved my experience! Everything was so cute & handmade with such care and consideration. The owner was there and he was very cute and sweet and provided me with great Argentinian advice. I got the bacon date and goat cheese & chicken & carnitas taco. I have been to South America many times & they lived up to my expectations & more! Must try at optimist hall!

The shepherds pie and chicken empanadas were great. Their sauce is really good too.

Tried 3 empanadas for $12, had pulled chorizo, bacon, egg & cheese and la Cubans. This is how I rated. La Cubana > pulled Chorizo > bacon egg and cheese. Actually not really a fan of bacon egg and cheese, it feels like a empanada filled with egg beaters with very little other fillings. But b/c other two were too good so I still give it a five. Their empanadas are made with puff pastry instead of flour dough, so its fluffy and not too dense. Wait is around 5-10 min when I got the txt. My husband grew up in S. America so hes picky about the empanadas, but he gave a thumbs up on this.

Being from Argentina I can "certified " that the empanadas are almost as good as mine. A little too much cummin for my taste but still excellent. Needs to make humpty too
