We visited Fin & Fino at Birkdale for dinner. As a bonus, they were participating in Savor Charlotte. Wed made reservations, were greeted warmly and seated immediately upon arrival. We didnt use it on this visit, but they offer valet service, which is useful because of the parking congestion that can occur at Birkdale. My first impression was that this is a very beautiful restaurant. There is lots of lighting, thoughtful artistic pieces, and it has an airy, aquatic ambiance. Even the restrooms were lovely! There is an outdoor patio, as well as a front dining area where the bar is, and a rear dining area with visibility to the kitchen. The front and rear areas are separated by a glass waterfall sign bearing the restaurants name. We had an absolute outstanding server named Saige. She was attentive and made great recommendations for us. To start, we had Caesar salads. The presentation of these was unique, having somewhat of a ruffled appearance. For the second course, we tried the sauted shrimp with Cajun spice and charred bread as well as bacon wrapped scallops with Calabrian tomato jam. Finally, for the third course, we had the hanger steak with blue cheese butter and new potatoes. I love blue cheese, and I really loved it as an addition to this dish. Every item I tried, I would order again. Unfortunately, we didnt save room for dessert, but weve heard they are fantasticnext time! After dinner, we went and sat at the bar for a little while, and the staff there was just as delightful. Dining here was a whole experience that I plan to repeat again in the future!

Fin & Fino is part of the same restaurant group as Chapter 6, so I already knew I was in for something special. My friend brought me here for my birthday dinner and we went all in and ordered The Treatment. If youve never tried it, its essentially a culinary adventure where the chef sends out a curated series of dishes. No decisions required, just pure enjoyment! Every single dish Ive had here (two times Ive done The Treatment at the Huntersville location) was amazing. Heres what we were served: 1. Whipped Ricotta Caprese 2. Tuna Tartare 3. Thai Peanut Calamari 4. Crab Dip 5. Scallops with Mushroom Risotto 6. Just For The Halibut ** Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheesecake A special birthday treat addition. I had to ask for it to go (hence no photo) because I was stuffed! I always recommend Chapter 6 and any Fin & Fino location, and this experience just reaffirmed why. Their food is consistently excellent and The Treatment is such a fun way to sample a wide range of their menu. Ive been to both the Uptown and Huntersville Fin & Fino locations. Uptown is convenient if youre already in the area for something, but I much prefer the Huntersville spot. Its located in Birkdale, has a spacious layout, great outdoor patio, and accessible parking. Its a comfortable, welcoming place with great vibes and even better food. Absolutely worth the visit!

My new favorite restaurant. Anywhere. Period. First, the service is outstanding. It's old school, chat with customers, learn their names, remember their drinks, kind of service. Every single person we came into contact with introduced themselves and treated us like the most important customer in the room. You just don't get that anymore! Second, the food is superb. We had the fish tacos and I ordered a dozen $1.00 James River oysters, off the Sunday brunch menu. The oyster setup is both adorable (with the eyedroppers for vinegar and hot sauce) and tasty! The fish tacos were hot and super tasty! Hubs says they are the best fish tacos he's ever had. The restaurant itself feels classy and elegant, but still relaxed somehow. It's wheelchair friendly, and with a great outdoor space, so also dog friendly. I seriously cannot say enough nice things about our experience here. We enjoyed it so much on Saturday, we came back on Sunday. And it was just as amazing day two.

Food delish, the mock tail was so refreshing. Surf and turf ++++ Poke bowl and lobster balls , whewww YES PLEASE. They will see me at the bar for a drink and sma plates for dinner soon. Jennifer came to check on us and recommended the cheesecake, which was her mothers recipe. Couldnt denied that! & dont regret any plate we selected

I came in looking for oysters and left completely impressed with everythingfrom the service to the food. Kyle gave a warm and professional welcome at the door, and Daniel, our server, was absolutely amazing. He was attentive, friendly, and helped make the whole experience even better. The manager even stopped by to check on us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was delicioushighly recommend the Thai peanut calamari and the key lime pie! Clean, comfortable, and an overall great vibe. Ill definitely be back!
