I'll keep it short. If you haven't had the experience of eating here before you are seriously missing out. Incredible food, amazing staff, and a great atmosphere.

Great restaurant. Parking is a little scarce. Love the big picture windows overlooking Main St. The food is incredible, truly enjoyed ourselves. Service was top notch, too.

Wonderful place to dine. We ate there mid-afternoon. There were 5 of us and we were the only customers dining so it was easy to socially distance. All employees were masked. Employees wiped down our seats and tables while we watched. They had paper menus for use, further hindering spread of the virus. The wait staff was friendly. The food was excellent. This was my first dine-in experience since the onset of the pandemic. I was satisfied with the care this establishment took to follow NC's phase two restrictions. Oh, and again, excellent food.

Great food, great service. Maybe a little pricey, but probably worth it. Nice date night.

So honestly this is a tough review because on my first visit I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The second visit not so much as one of the appetizers were completely missing and the food lacked the energy and passion from the first visit. So this review is a 2 for 1 I guess. Let's start with the truffle parmesan fries which seems to be a popular app at many places these days. The first time we almost placed a second order cause it was so good. The second go round between the fries not being hot something was missing. No truffle oil? Cheap knockoff? Strange. The star of the show was the risotto and seared NC trout, it was rich and the broth. The escargot a bit on the pricey side but was a delectable bite and should be sampled. The second go round I ordered a salad expecting something filling ... Not quite what was expected. The only real knock is an identity crisis ... It's not upscale dining but it's a solid causal dining spot with a bar in the middle ... So it has a sports bar vibe but if you nestled in the corner it could be a date night spot. It's somewhere in between.... Either way I wasn't able to brag about the second visit and show off as expected.
