We came to Folia for coffee. It was quiet and very cute inside. There were 2 people working on their computers while having their coffee. There was only one person working, but she was friendly and very efficient! She suggested a couple of their more popular seasonal coffees, since I didnt know what to order. It was overall a great experience and relaxing to sit in the comfy chairs. Their cups are very cute- green stripes.

Beautiful venue and a great space for events. I attended a DJ brunch here on a Sunday from 124 PM, and once the event started the space filled up quickly without feeling overcrowded. There was still plenty of room for standing tables, drinks, and socializing, which made the event feel comfortable and well-balanced even as more guests arrived. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating throughout the event, and the drinks were well done with a solid variety of alcoholic beverages, mocktails, and non-alcoholic options available. I didnt get a chance to try the food, but overall the atmosphere felt smooth, stylish, and enjoyable. It honestly felt like the kind of venue youd want to return to regularly or even host your own event at. The only noticeable issue was the flow of the unisex restroom line. While I appreciate having bathrooms accessible for everyone, it did create some confusion during the event, and some guests became frustrated with the line structure and people appearing to skip ahead. Outside of that, Folia was a really solid experience and a beautiful event venue overall.

I've been to Folia twice now and it is definitely a place I bring all of my friends too! I've been for drinks and coffee/tea, and can definitely say everything I've seen my friends purchase food and beverage wise looks delicious. Unfortunately, if you love matcha, I was a bit underwhelmed with the matcha, but my friend said it was the best coffee she's ever had. Nevertheless, this does not take away from the experiences I've had at Folia. All of the servers/bartenders have been super chill and nice, checking on groups and asking if they can do anything else. The environment is very peaceful and feels like you're stepping away from South End and the busy street into a completely new place. Personally, I really enjoy Folia and can't say I've ever had a bad experience with the employees or the dining experience. Every time I'm in South End, I come into Folia for a drink of some kind!

Ive been to Folia twice before this visit. The first time, the atmosphere was nice and the food was good. The server seemed like shed had a long day, but it wasnt a big deal. The second visit was with the same server, and she seemed to be in a better mood. The coffee was good, and she let us know the establishment was closing early that day for an event, so food wouldnt be available. She also gave me a loyalty card, which made me excited to return in the near future. On 01/14/25, my friend and I were in the area and decided to stop by again. As soon as we walked in, the man standing at the door greeted us with, What are you doing here? We responded that wed like to be seated. He then stated that cocktail hour had just started and that outside drinks werent allowed, which was completely understandable. However, when he repeated, So what are you doing here? it made us feel unwelcome. At that point, we decided not to stay.

Folia was super chill and a good vibe. They had a live DJ, which immediately set the tone - music was on point, people were talking, just enjoying the moment. It felt social without being chaotic. I dont really drink, but even sticking to non-alcoholic options, it was still easy to vibe out and have a good time with friends. Great spot if youre looking for music, atmosphere, and a relaxed night out.
