Great Harvest Charlotte
Rebekah Bagley
I came in today around 1ish with my partner. It was his first time ever at a great harvest and we were taking a couple min looking around. The lady that was working asked if it was our first time, to which my BF responded yes. The lady then began to very kindly share a little about each of their options, and about what makes their breads different from others. She was informative but didnt pressure us to buy anything, she even gave us a free cookie & then rang me out for the loaf of bread we got. While leaving, another customer came in and she had the same very pleasant & kind demeanor. Ive never left a review for anywhere before, but I feel like I need to this time. Because especially in the state the world is in, if there was more people like the kind woman who was working today, I know the world would be such a beautiful place. Definitely will be back!!

I moved to Charlotte about 4 months ago and one afternoon while eating next door at the Indian cuisine I ran across this little bakery. Looked outdated and run down upon entering the store but I was greeted with a big smile by a young lady with tattoos everywhere. So I continued to come back every other day when I thought she would be there. So I came in yesterday looking for my favorite and Only employee that I ever saw working here but instead I was greeted by someone new Ive never seen before major disappointment but I proceeded with my purchase. The lady was extremely rude and hostile and continued to cut me off before I could say what I wanted. After I told her what I wanted she told me the total and snatched the money out of my hand. I then asked her what her name was and she rolled her eyes and walked away. I will never be a customer here again

The bread here is phenomenal! I've told all my friends about her most delicious baked goods. Please support her, shes a female small business owner. Let's help her be a strong success.

Let me start off my saying this message is not a reflection of the company. I think the company as a whole is great and the breads and sweets are amazing. This message is about the location i personally worked in. ( Kings Court Uptown) . So, I worked here for about a month or so The oven wasn't working for about 2-3 weeks of me starting. Everyone seems friendly.... but the gossip is terrible. The boss doesn't really seem to care for her employees or how the business is ran. In the end they ended up letting me go because i wasn't learning how to fold dough " fast enough". Mind you the oven was broken for majority of my employment there so i wasn't practicing prior. Also one of the employees bad mouthed me so i spoke up to defend myself and ended up getting fired. The boss didn't even learn my name. Ive seen her make a manager cry like twice while i was there. Although i was a little sour about being let go. I know it was for the best and that place isnt for me. But this is just a fore warning if you think you want to work in this location.
