A nice little hidden gem with great food and it's hot! Now on the other hand, the guy that was working the front seating people, he can use some more training; he doesn't communicate with customers very well-at all! But the waitress was extremely nice and courteous if you're ever in Harrisburg, North Carolina give them a try....

Finally made it here for the first time and Im wishing I had come sooner! I came here for breakfast. Food quality was great, service was good, staff was all courteous. Prices are very reasonable and the menu selection was extensive and easily accommodated my eating lifestyle. Cant wait to come back!

This was our first time stopping in on our way through Harrisburg. It was somewhat busy but only took about 10mins to seat a family of four. There is a large menu of items so lots to choose from. I ordered the grouper and it was too salty for me and not what I expected for a grilled fish plate as it was very oily. This feels like a favorite spot for people to be in Harrisburg. But we will pass on it next time.

My dad's been frequenting this restaurant lately. I joined him for dinner on Sat, 10-2. There were quite a few choices & everything was reasonably priced. The portions were generous. I couldn't eat everything & thats not just because I had brunch earlier. Our server was pleasant & attentive. My side of okra didn't come out with my order of calabash shrimp and grilled flounder. She apologized, said it was still cooking, & would bring it right out when it was done. I'm sure I drove by this place a million times over the years. This was my 1st time. Probably won't be the last.

Great place to go for home cooking when you dont feel like cooking yourself. Ive never had a bad meal here. The service is always great. Theyll make sure to refill your drink often. They always have specials and its always a nice variety. I had the marinated beef strips with rice and gravy the last time I was here and really enjoyed it. The inside isnt dated and is kept clean. Love coming to the Family House.
