My husband and I went for the first time last Friday and were very extremely impressed with both the food and the service. (Ask for Jeremy - he's awesome!) I had the Crab Louie salad, topped with fried shrimp, and it was honestly the best salad I've had at ANY restaurant EVER. I can't wait to go back. After hearing all the negative reviews, we were hesitant to go. However, we are so glad we didn't listen and took a chance. We will definitely be going back, and by boat next time. We are excited to order take away and enjoy a good burger on the lake. It's nice to finally get what you pay for at this place! And with a friendly smile! I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
The lobster roll bread was buttery, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside...loads of lobster, but bland. The lobster roll came with a side salad as a choice side. I was looking for a fresh green salad, but got more of a 7 layer salad of sorts, which is fine, but it wouldn't have been my go to. The drinks were fine. The atmosphere on the deck is what you come back for.
Tasty food, got the crab Louie salad and it was amazing. We split an ice cream sandwich dessert, it was also awesome! The view of the lake is great - even from inside. The decor and vibe is retro, which is fun as even the drinks from the bar are served in 70s style vintage luau type glasses - a fun kitschy detail!
Our waitress was phenomenal - I would definitely recommend for the quality of service. Food was good, drinks are strong and the ambiance is really fun. The decor is very instagrammable & the bar is a great set-up to enjoy the breeze off the lake. The only reason I give 4 stars is because they will split up your party if its 8 or more. I really wish that they would look into changing this policy, its holding them back from business from boats that dock to grab a bite & from groups coming for special events. Management, please consider reevaluating.
Wonderful service, seating inside, on a fan-cooled porch, or on the waterside deck, outside bar, clean bathrooms, and excellent food. The poboys are perfection. And the seasoned watermelon slices were tasty too. (Apparently, some people don't like them, but I'd still recommend trying them!) I'll be coming back the next time I can. [Posted: 6/24/18]
