Overall Score: 6.6/10 This spot inside Alley 51 felt authentic with a big menu and friendly people. Everything was solid and fairly priced for the experience. Nothing blew me away, but it was enjoyable and worth trying. Buns 6.9/10 Good and authentic. Fair price and tasted fresh. Sticky rice 6.6/10 Good overall and cooked well. Did what it was supposed to do. Pork fried rice 6.2/10 Decent but nothing special. Couldve used sauces to add some sweet or spicy flavor.

Inside Alley 51, honey buns 2 offer dumplings, and steam buns. I was able to quickly place my order and then I was given a buzzer to use while waiting. I only ended up having t o wait for around 3-4 minutes. I had the number 10-pork and shrimp dim sum. For $4.50, you get 5 pieces. I found them to have good flavor and they were juicy. The steam buns were teriyaki and bbq. I liked the texture of the bun and the sweetness of the meat. I do wish there was a bit more filling to bun ratio. The food was great and I will definitely come back and try more that they have to offer.

I mainly come here for their steamed dumplings. I think its the shoumai pork dumpling (shrimp and pork) is really good. Nice and juicy and great flavor. I'm not a fan of their custard bun. I feel like there's not a good bun to custard ratio and I'm not a fan of the custard, it wasn't as creamy as I thought it would be. The red bean bun is delicious with plenty of filling. Malay cupcake is also sweet and delicious. I'll definitely be back for more buns and dumplings. Also, they do have a sign in their window that says there is a charge for using credit and cash and debit is preferred.

Just as good (tho much pricier) than the other location. Would recommend the buns, particularly the veggies and custard buns. Fried rice is solid but nothing special. There are a lot of allergy notices, which I appreciate!

Wouldnt re-make a drink after we were not happy with the Taro boba. The guy at the front recommended it. What kind of place doesnt re-make an order? Especially after recommending it? Will not be back
